Timber Trail Flannels

We’ve been enjoying some really pleasant Fall weather lately, haven’t we?  Well I just finished watching the morning weather report and we have colder temperatures heading our way!  I think it’s time to pull out those flannel fabrics! 



These are the Timber Trail flannels (Moda) I just love their warm, fall colors.

Christmas Quilt Kits

My son pulled out the calendar last night and counted how many weeks left until Christmas.  Can you believe there’s only EIGHT weeks left?  I’d better get busy on my Christmas projects! 

This lovely quilt is currently hanging in the shop right now and I wanted to let you know that we have kits available.  This quilt is made from a quilt pattern called “Hello Washi” and it’s a quick one!  The fabrics are “Pine Fresh” from Moda and they are such classic Christmas colors – I love it!  The quilt is a generous throw size at 59” x 72”.

New Pattern – Monogram Strip Quilt

We have a new pattern and display quilt up at the shop!  This is the “Monogram Strip Quilt” pattern by our very own Carol Lawson.  You can grab a few coordinating fabrics and in no time have a personalized quilt ready for gifting.  The pattern includes two font styles (Funky & Classy).

Quick Curve Ruler

Did you know that we carry the popular Quick Curve Ruler?  This is a great new ruler that has a lot of fun possibilities!  We will be showing more of this ruler soon here on the blog, but in the mean time you can see some video tutorials showing how to cut the curves and then sew the curves.  (Click on the text below to see the videos)

Halloween Wall Hanging

It was so fun to see so many of you during our shop hop last week!  As we are getting this week started, I wanted to pop in and show you one of our new wall hanging samples.  This cute wall hanging is made from a panel so you know it’s got to be a fast project.  My favorite part?  It lights up!  See the little lights around the word, “BOO”?  They blink on and off.  We have both the panel and the pattern for this cute wall hanging – and a Christmas version as well! 

And here’s one more quick addition to your Halloween décor – a pennant banner!  These cute holiday banners are made by Riley Blake and come in many color combos.  Here are two tutorials on how you can put these pre-printed Halloween banners to good use! Christmas is Coming…

The fall SHOP HOP is still in full swing!  Have you stopped by yet?  We have a bunch of new display quilts hanging, piles of new precuts, and Halloween and Christmas fabrics galore - all ready for all of those fun projects you have planned!

Have you started your Christmas projects yet?  Don’t worry – it’s not too late!  I just wanted to give you a peek at just some of the Christmas prints we have on the shelves right now. The first photo is made up of mostly a line called Pine Fresh (Moda). 

This pretty line is called Richmond Reds and is full of soft cream and red prints.

And this one is my personal favorite – these are from the Merry and Bright line by Maywood Studios.  I’m thinking that my family needs some new quilted Christmas stockings to set out for Santa on Christmas Eve!

It's Shop Hop Time!
