So Happy Together

I thought today I’d show you one of our newest display quilts.  This is a raw edge squares quilt created by Trisha:




She used fabrics from the So Happy Together line by Riley Blake.  Have you seen these?  They are indeed happy fabrics! 


Trisha’s quilt is so sweet.  Stop by the shop and check it out.  While you’re here grab some of the So Happy Together fabrics – they’re not going to last long!

Quilting Coordinates

We have some great new coordinates in stock – check these out!

This stack of fabrics are the “crimp” prints from Riley Blake’s Hipster cottons.  We have all of the available colors in stock.  Here’s an up-close shot of what the crimping looks like:

These are great fabrics to use as coordinates with your favorite main prints.

Geekly Chic

Mustaches are all the rage and we have them.  Well, in fabric anyway.  These are from the Geekly Chic line from Riley Blake. 

I love the multi colored on black, but we also have the Geekly Mustaches in Aqua.

Sweet Valentine Quilt Kit

This is one of our newer display quilts - it’s called Sweet Valentine and I love the red, black and white color combo.  So striking! 



The pattern for this quilt can be found in the Buggy Barn book “Gone Crazy” and we also have quilt kits available.  The kit is $45 and the quilt finishes at 49” x 49”.  It is available in the shop or by ordering over the phone:  801-225-3123

PB & J

Nope, I’m not talking about lunch.  I’m talking about a new line of fabric from Moda called PB&J.  The fabrics are delicious though!  We have all of the precut options – jelly roll, layer cake, charm pack.

We also have the entire line in yardage and also a quilt kit available!  The kit includes the All Lined Up pattern and the fabrics needed for the quilt top and binding.




The quilt finishes at 58” x 79”.  The quilt kit is $75.00 and is available in the shop or by ordering over the phone:  801-225-3123.

New Fabrics: Susybee purples and greens

I wanted to show you some of my favorite fabrics in the shop right now:

These are from Susybee fabrics.

I’m in love with these purples and greens.  Of course, it may have something to do with the fact that purple lilacs are my favorite flower and they are just days away from blooming. 

We also have some of these fabrics cut at fat quarters – ready to grab and go!

Beehive Summer Buzz Party!

You’re not going to want to miss this years Summer Buzz Party!  It has been extended by one day so that you’ll have plenty of time to visit all of your favorite shops.  We have started our party planning here at The Fabric Mill and we’re looking forward to all of the fun!

Evening Gown Quilt Kit

Fourth Friday Follower Giveaway

Spring is in the air here in Utah!  Many of the local school children have spring break next week, buds are forming on the trees and the grass is showing a bit of green.
