LED Lights–perfect for wreaths!

These LED light strands are the perfect way to light up a wreath or other holiday décor without having to string a cord to the nearest outlet. 

Here at my home, we usually have a lit wreath on our front door and it looks great from the outside, but on the inside I have this ugly cord that hangs from the door to the outlet on the wall.  Such an eyesore.  But this year we got these battery powered LED lights in the shop and it solved my problem! 

Each strand is 60” long and has 20 bright, long-lasting LED lights.  One strand uses only three AA batteries!  Right now we have these lights on sale:

3 or more for $6.98 each.

We've even used these lights to add sparkle to a holiday wall hanging.  Just think of all the creative uses for these fun little light strands!

Halloween Wall Hanging

It was so fun to see so many of you during our shop hop last week!  As we are getting this week started, I wanted to pop in and show you one of our new wall hanging samples.  This cute wall hanging is made from a panel so you know it’s got to be a fast project.  My favorite part?  It lights up!  See the little lights around the word, “BOO”?  They blink on and off.  We have both the panel and the pattern for this cute wall hanging – and a Christmas version as well!

Chance of Flowers Wall Hanging and Kit

 Isn’t this sweet?  This wall hanging is made using a panel from the Chance of Flowers line of fabric (Moda).  It would also make a perfect crib quilt for a new little one.  And because it's made from a panel, it is quick to sew up! 

The finished wall hanging measures 27" x 36"

Gift idea: Family Tree wall hanging

This Family Tree wall hanging would make a wonderful gift this Christmas!  I made this one for my mom and dad, and I put all of their grandchildren’s names on the little birds in the tree.

The center portion of the wall hanging is printed as a panel, which makes everything so quick and easy!  You cut out each little bird and (using a fusible web) iron them on to their spot on the tree.  I used a Micron pen to write names on each bird.

Free instructions for making the wall hanging are available with purchase of the tree panel!  The instructions will let you know how much of each fabric you need for the border, binding and backing as well.
