Life - Enjoy the Ride!

Well that's quite a blog post title, isn't it?  It's actually the name of a new line of fabrics we just received.  It's from Quilting Treasures and it has some great unique prints - and some great bicycles and cycling themed prints.  How appropriate, with the Tour de France going on right now!

This is just one of the bicycle prints and I just love it- such great colors:

In this line there are two ombre chevron prints - isn't this cool?  My tween would love this in a new quilt.

Pine Fresh Fabric from Moda

The first of the Christmas fabrics are hitting the shelves!  This gorgeous line is called Pine Fresh designed by Sandy Gervais for Moda.

We also have pre cuts available as well!  I think one of these jelly rolls would make a really pretty Jelly Roll Race quilt, don't you?

Frozen Fabrics

I bet you know a little (or not so little) girl who loves Elsa and Anna from Frozen!  These Frozen prints are on the shelves – but not for long!  Wouldn’t this make a cute pillowcase? 

Pillow Case Kits

Do you have kids or grandkids going away to camp this Summer?  Send them off with a personalized pillow case to help chase away any homesickness.  We always have a variety of pillow case kits available in the shop. 

The kits make pillowcases similar to these – with a main print, coordinating print for the band, and a third fabric for an accent strip. 

The kits range in price from $13 to $16 and include the step-by-step instructions.

Each kit comes wrapped with a bow and would make a nice gift!  Give one to a beginner sewist – it’s a great first project (all straight seams, quick to finish). 

Don’t Look Now….

I don't want to alarm you, but just so you know…we have Halloween fabrics in stock.

 

The Halloween prints are rolling in and we’re starting to (already) look towards fall.  Don’t panic though!  You still have plenty of time to plan your fall projects.  But to get the ideas flowing, I suggest you stop by and see these great prints.

Stars And Stripes Table Runner

Great news!  We have more kits available for the Stars and Stripes Table Runner.  These kits sold out quickly during the shop hop so don’t wait to come in and get one.

The pattern is also available here at the shop and is free with any purchase.  It’s a quick and easy table runner and you still have plenty of time to whip one up in time for the big holiday weekend!

1930s Prints

These are the 1930’s Classics prints from Exclusively Quilters.  They’re new to the shop!

Chance of Flowers Wall Hanging and Kit

 Isn’t this sweet?  This wall hanging is made using a panel from the Chance of Flowers line of fabric (Moda).  It would also make a perfect crib quilt for a new little one.  And because it's made from a panel, it is quick to sew up! 

The finished wall hanging measures 27" x 36"

We have kits available too!  Each kit costs $19 and contains all of the fabric needed (front + back) plus the cute ric rac for the edging.

Shop Hop Time!

The Shop Hop is in full swing! 

Each shop has a free table topper pattern as well as drawings for gift certificates.  I don’t want to give too much away, but here’s a peek at the kits for our table topper! (The pattern is free, and the kits are available to purchase.  Each kit will make one table topper.)

The shop hop runs through the weekend (June 3 – 7) which gives you just two more days to stop by all of your favorite local quilt shops.  We’ll see you soon!
