Trendsetter

I can’t get enough of the mint / coral / navy color combination!  How about you?  So I’m really loving this new line from Riley Blake called Trendsetter. 

Need some ideas on how to use it? 

This cute quilt pattern is a free download from the Riley Blake website.  The finished quilt measures 53” x 59” (Throw size quilt).  You can download and print the pattern from here and then bring it with you to The Fabric Mill to select your fabrics!

The next idea comes from the Riley Blake Blog.  It’s a fast four-patch quilt tutorial created by Amy Smart (Diary of a Quilter).  Read the tutorial here.  The finished quilt measures 40” x 56”.  This would be a great project for a beginning quilter!

For this quilt you’ll need 1-1/4 background print, 1/8 yard each of 8 different prints, 1-3/4 yard backing and 3/8 yard binding.
