Disney Princess Fabrics

In both blues and pinks these prints remind us of our favorite scenes from these movies.

Machingers

New to the notions wall are one of my personal all-time favorite quilting tools ….Machingers!

 

When I first started quilting I had a small domestic machine and I was really struggling moving large quilts around as I machine quilted them.  Then a friend told me about Machingers and using them made a HUGE difference!  Now that’s all I use.  They do a great job at gripping the quilt. 

And the Fabric Mill has both S/M size and M/L sizes available!

Halloween!

If you’ve been in the shop recently you may have noticed that we have two new Halloween fabric lines, and all of our Halloween prints are gathered together in one convenient spot in the shop!

 

This line is called Happy Haunting from Riley Blake.  I love this text print (below)!

 

And this next line is called Haunted Gala (Moda) and I just adore these little skelatons.  The cute little skelatons come in black, orange, cream, green and gray!

Follow Me fabrics

We love these new fabrics from Henry Glass called Follow Me! 

 

These images are from the panel – the one panel comes with instructions to make a cute book -

 

But we decided to take the same panel and make a children’s quilt! 

And we have kits for this quilt available as well! 

Tick Tock quilt kits

This fun quilt is called “Tick Tock” and is now available as a kit for a limited time! 

 

The Tick Tock pattern comes from this fabulous book:

The kit costs $54 and the finished quilt measures about 58” x 71” which is between a crib and twin size.  You'll need the book as well, if you don't already own it!  But it's a great one and filled with so many fun patterns.

Simply Colorful!

 

Simply Colorful (by V and Co for Moda) has hit the shelves!  We have charm packs and jelly rolls…

 

as well as the lovely reds and pinks in yardage.

And here’s some inspiration for you!  This quilt is a free tutorial over on the Moda Bake Shop blog.  It’s called Sunset Ridge and it uses the junior jelly rolls  that we have in the shop.  So cute!
