Urban Abacus

This fun new display quilt was made using the “Urban Abacus” pattern from the very talented Sew Kind of Wonderful. 

It uses the Quick Curve Ruler which is a fun tool to use! 

Have you used the Quick Curve Ruler yet?  We did a table runner tutorial here on our blog to show just how fun and easy the ruler is to use. 

All In A Row

Looking for a great way to use a favorite Jelly Roll?  This “All In A Row” quilt pattern is the solution!

Our display quilt was made using these vibrant “On The Wing” jelly rolls.  I love those rich blues!

Happy Sunshine

 

 

We love this new Moda line called “Happy Sunshine."

We have charm packs available as well as a few bolts of yardage.  This new line would be so cute used in our “Bugged Out” pattern:

This charm-pack-friendly pattern is free with purchase.  It requires one charm pack plus some yardage for the sashing and borders.  (Finishes at 44” x 50”)

Minions are Here!

The Minions prints have arrived!  We have a total of 17 prints, including panels and coordinating prints. 

 

I love the basics in the stack below – those stripes are fun!

He’s a cutie.  And with all of the fun coordinating prints, this panel makes it fast and easy to whip up a quilt!

And right now Quilting Treasures has a free downloadable quilt pattern here on their site.  Print the pattern and bring it with you to the shop to pick up the fabrics you’ll need!  The center of the quilt is cut from the other panel we have available.

On The Wing

This new line from Moda is just screaming “SUMMER!” in my opinion.  The colors, the colors, the prints – everything about this line just makes me so excited for Summer.

I love the fun butterflies, and that geometric print (the bottom of the stack) is fabulous.  But I am a sucker for geometric prints. 

I think one of these jelly rolls would be great as this quilt:

Aloha Girl + new display quilt

This fabulous quilt is one of our new displays and it is made with Aloha Girl fabrics – the newest line from Fig Tree Quilts (Moda)

The pattern is called "Bouquet of Patchwork" by Carlene Westberg Designs.  The quilt measures 62"x 62" and all you need is one layer cake and one charm pack! 

And we have plenty of Aloha Girl precuts – jelly rolls, charm packs, layer cakes!

Aloha Girl is such a pretty line!

And speaking of Fig Tree, did you see our custom jelly rolls?  We’ve combined our favorite Fig Tree prints from three different lines to make these custom jelly rolls that you can’t find anywhere else!  These are available for just a limited time.

Ambleside

 

We’ve been seeing such lovely projects being made with Ambleside fabrics!  I just wanted to let you know that we have not only yardage, but also charm packs and layer cakes from the very pretty Ambleside line. 

And this quilt is one of our most recent displays – made from the Whirled quilt pattern, Ambleside fabrics and one of our softest Minky fabrics on the back!

Fresh Cut + Quilt Display

We’ve had such in influx of great new fabric, I feel like that’s all I’ve been blogging about!  But I HAVE to show you when pretty things show up on the shelves, right?  Well today I’m giving you a peek at a line called Fresh Cut (Moda)

 

And we have Jelly Rolls and Layer Cakes for Fresh Cut too!

Today I also have a quilt to show off!  This quilt display is the Running Offset pattern (blogged about first here) but made in Day Sail fabric (Bonnie & Camille for Moda).  Fun, isn’t it?

The pattern is available only at The Fabric Mill!

New Display quilt and pattern

 

This eye-catching quilt is one of our newest displays!  I love the use of the geometric prints in this pattern. 

 

The pattern is called Running Offset written by Lady Bug Designs.  It’s such a clever way to showcase those large-scale prints.  We have the pattern for sale right now in the shop!

Charming Tote Bag Pattern

 

If you’ve been in the shop in the last few days you may have noticed our new tote bag greeting you! 

This pattern is called “The Charming Tote” and it's designed by Carol Lawson – our very own Bag Lady.

Carol designs such cute bags – we have all of her patterns and many of the bags are hanging as displays in the shop.

Right now we also have some of these sweet zip bags available from Riley Blake. One of these zip bags filled with a few sewing notions would make a great gift for a sewing friend! 

Urban Trellis

Introducing Urban Trellis!  This quilt pattern by Crazy Old Ladies is a fun one!  This 44” x 54” quilt is Jelly Roll friendly – one jelly roll will make this throw sized quilt.  How great is that?  We have the pattern in stock here in the store, and plenty of fun jelly rolls to choose from.
