Fletcher Chevron Quilt Kit–new colors available!

We’ve had this Fletcher Chevron quilt hanging above the register for a short time now and a few months ago I showed you the yellow and gray quilt kit that was available.  Well, we now have a mint and gray color combo in a kit too!

The kit (either mint / gray or yellow / gray) is $72 and makes a quilt that is 60” x 72”.  The kit includes everything you’ll need for the quilt front and binding.

Snowtime!

Anyone else having a busy Friday?  I thought I’d pop in quickly and give you a peek at a new display quilt.  It’s made using a pattern called “Snowtime” by Coach House Designs.  It makes a nice throw size quilt – perfect for those cold, snowy December evenings!

Trendsetter

I can’t get enough of the mint / coral / navy color combination!  How about you?  So I’m really loving this new line from Riley Blake called Trendsetter. 

Need some ideas on how to use it? 

This cute quilt pattern is a free download from the Riley Blake website.  The finished quilt measures 53” x 59” (Throw size quilt).  You can download and print the pattern from here and then bring it with you to The Fabric Mill to select your fabrics!

The next idea comes from the Riley Blake Blog.  It’s a fast four-patch quilt tutorial created by Amy Smart (Diary of a Quilter).  Read the tutorial here.  The finished quilt measures 40” x 56”.  This would be a great project for a beginning quilter!

For this quilt you’ll need 1-1/4 background print, 1/8 yard each of 8 different prints, 1-3/4 yard backing and 3/8 yard binding. 

Eagle Scout quilt kit now available!

 We’ve had a lot of requests for this in the past and I’m happy to say that we now have an Eagle quilt kit available!  This quilt would be a nice gift for your favorite Eagle Scout. 

The quilt pattern uses an eagle fabric panel in the center of the quilt so it’s a fairly quick and easy quilt to make!

Check out this cute bicycle print – isn’t it sweet?  We have it in this lovely mint color as well as yellow and pink.

Monsters!

 Monsters?  Yep - cute ones!  The silly, googly-eyed monsters are the best part of this quilt.  All sorts of bright and fun prints are paired with the monsters to make an adorable kids' quilt.

The finished size is 42" x 49" and the pattern can be found in this book called Little Quilts 4 Little Kids (by Heather Mulder Peterson).  We just love this book - it's full of such wonderful quilt patterns - all for kids!

Halloween Time

So I just counted and we have a short 7.5 weeks left until Halloween.

We’ve got Olaf!

I’ve just gotten word that Olaf has arrived at The Fabric Mill!  We have bolts of this print in flannel only and I'm fairly sure it's not going to last long!
